We Went to the Farmer's Market ...

Every Monday, Koloa has a Farmer's Market that opens at exactly 12 noon. We went with the Wolfe family to buy fresh fruits from the island. Since we arrived few minutes early, we got to see how the throng of shoppers grew every minute as we waited for the market to open.

... and that's how we got these pictures....

Then at exactly 12 noon, an elderly came with a dog and introduced himself as the leader of those vendors inside. He then ushered all of us to the area and telling us all that if ever we had questions or problems in the course of our shopping, he would be more than willing to help us. Hmmm! It was neat!

It really looks like "Tabo" in the Philippines, very similar the way the vendors put up their tables and farm produce. The only thing is, I did not see a single "fly." I wonder how they keep the place clean.

Anyways, Elsie got the sweetest pineapple and fresh tomatoes and greens. We got mango and some other fruits and veggies.
